1. Information We Collect


We collect information you provide directly to us when registering a tenant account (such as business name, phone, email, and billing details). We also store the details of students and attendance logs entered by your staff for operations.



2. How We Use Information


We use the collected information exclusively to run, maintain, and optimize the MessMitra mess portal, process subscriptions, generate balance reminder notifications, and dispatch alerts to student accounts via SMS or WhatsApp.



3. Data Sharing & Security


We do not sell or lease your tenant, operator, or student ledger data to third parties. We use secure database wrappers, prepared SQL statements, and standard encryption standards to safeguard records against unauthorized access.



4. Third-Party Integrations


To enable collection billing and check-in reminders, the platform integrates with payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe) and communication API services (Twilio, custom WhatsApp bridges) which process details subject to their respective privacy terms.



5. Data Retention & Deletion


You retain full ownership of your logs. Upon cancellation or deletion of a tenant account, all related student tables, ledger transactions, and meal planners are securely purged from active production servers.
